[Mondrian] Publishing an olap4j release to maven central

I’ll work with maven central to get olap4j and olap4j-xmlaserver version 1.2.0 published. (Maven central scrutinizes the first release, but when we have published one release, making any future releases in the org.olap4j domain is simply a matter of pressing “release” in their sontatype nexus instance.)

Then I think we should start working to release a version 1.3.0 within a month. Can someone volunteer to be release manager? That would involve chasing down pull requests, writing release notes, and making an announcement when it is done.

Paul, Tom, Sergio, Can you review any existing pull requests and see whether they could be accepted. And look through the open issues to see whether they have patches, or could be closed. The day-to-day job of committers is to provide timely responses to pull requests, and commit them when they are ready. If we do that, I think we will attract more pull requests and generate more activity. I can give you guys rights to commit to the repository.

There are a few interesting looking forks of olap4j (YellowfinBI, grupoasv, hypnoce, among others). I’ve reached out to a few of these developers. Hopefully they will submit patches in time for 1.3.0.
