It's not the license it's the ownership. Why would your competitors
contribute  to your product?

Put it in Asf, maintain your own quirks if you must (and proprietary
interfaces fine! ) and everyone contributes to a common goal.

There's no doubt you would get more comitters in Asf. Maybe even jasper
/tibco ☺
