[Mondrian] Measures.*ZERO

I believe that’s just a trick (a nicer word than hack) to avoid any segment load queries by putting a fixed value measure in context. [Measures].[*ZERO] is just a query defined calc member equal to '0'. Cognos does the same thing (but they use ‘1’).

Subject: [Mondrian] Measures.*ZERO

Hello Chaps

I was just looking at Analyzer when you run a query without a measure the MDX injects [Measures].[*ZERO] is this some Analzyer specific hack or something that really resides in Mondrian as I can't find anything in the docs.

Cheers

Tom
