[Mondrian] Support for multiple Datasources with Mondrian 3.3 and up

Hello Mondrian mailing list members.

In version 3.2 it was possible to create multiple datasources in Mondrian,
and expose those multiple datasources in XML/A.

Starting in Mondrian 3.3 we face a limitation where only one datasource can
be defined (due to a specific assertion in the code).

Can anyone shed some light about what the reasons for the new limitation,
and can it be removed to allow better backward compatibility?

This question was also published on the forum and on Jira (see
http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?152387-How-Mondrian-XML-A-provide-multiple-datasources-in-mondrian-3-3-or-higher-version&highlight=XMLA+provider
)

It would be helpful if answers are posted to the forum in the link above.

Thank you,

Udi
