[Mondrian] Problem with special characters

Some time ago I had the same problem, but It wasn't Pentaho neither
mondrian... But it could be the same case as yours.

I had Apache and MySQL. When I wanted to get data from the database, all
those characters that you are saying appeared as '?'. I managed to solve it
changing charset from the DATABASE. So, what I would do in your case, is
have a look at your database charset and see if it's the same as ISO-8859-1.

Tell me something when you are done, so I'll see if I am able to help you.
But I don't think so.
