Actually calculated members with parents seem to work correctly if AllMember
is not omitted in qualified name (i.e.
[Product].[All Products].[Food].[Test] works while [Product].[Food].[Test]
doesn't)...

Another interesting observation:

with member [Product].[Test] as '[Product].[Food]'
select {[Measures].[Unit Sales]} on columns,
[Product].[Test].children on rows
from Sales

This provides quite strange results different from MSAS.

Subject: Calculated members not on top level

Hello Julian and others,

I've just found that Mondrian 2.4.2 can't process calculated members which
are children of real members.

Example (works in MSAS 2000):

with member [Product].[Food].[Test] as '[Product].[Food]'
select {[Measures].[Unit Sales]} on columns,
{[Product].[Food].[Test]} on rows
from Sales

Mondrian reports that [Product].[Food].[Test] is not found.

Is this intended behavior or bug?

Anton
