Hi Andreas,
 
I think it would be a good idea for end users trying the xmla interface against mondrian.  Jpivot 1.6 against 2.2 and 2.3 is not working properly.
 
I have picked jpivot HEAD two months ago (is working fine) and did not sync in the meanwhile, I have no time to test against HEAD for the moment.  But Julian told me he will include jpivot HEAD in the 2.3 release of mondrian.  
 
I guess it would be OK to build a new release.  It would also be helpful to let end-users know that jpivot xmla is broken against mondrian 2.2 and 2.3 is working.

I would like to sync our local changes with sourceforge before building a new release, but I'm not sure if I find the time to do so. 
What do you think, would it be OK to build a release from JPivot HEAD as is?
