Hi Julian,

This interface change and the updated javadoc are now in(11184).

The return parameter comment is slightly different from your suggestion. 
I think it is worth pointing out that the return result is only 
meaningful when there is no exception.

We will look into adopting the olap4j interface for our Mondrian client.
