[Mondrian] High Cardinality for Mondrian

I have logged a bug to track this issue:

I have attached the code after I integrated it with the head revision. It is
in the format produced by the packChange utility, so it should be easy to
re-integrate with head in future.

It runs on linux and windows/cygwin.
